Mudding in coats
Joint compound goes on in several thin coats with drying time between each one, feathered wider each pass so the seam disappears rather than reads as a ridge.
Sanding and texture matching
Once the final coat is dry, we sand it smooth and match the surrounding texture, whether that is knockdown, orange peel or a flat, smooth finish.
